There are no take-backs after the final submission; be vigilant so you have no regrets.

Here are three things to look out for before you submit your applications.
1) The online application responses
As you fill out the online application, depending on the school, you may notice questions like “What are your post-MBA plans?” but with a character count of 250.
Or you may have a field to enter a response about your previous employment under “Reason for leaving.”
You may be tempted to respond in incomplete sentences or rush your answer. Try to resist that temptation. As with any other part of your application, these responses are read. You want the entirety of your application to reflect excellence as it tells the story of your candidacy.
Create a document and fill out your responses in that document first, workshopping it there and then transferring it to the online application.
2) The additional information question
Most schools have a prompt that goes something like: “Please share additional information here if you need to clarify any information provided in the other sections of your application. This is not meant to be used as an additional essay. Please limit your additional information to the space in this section.”
(a) If you have something in your application to clarify, use this opportunity to do just that. Perhaps your test score or undergraduate GPA is lacking, you took an extended time off work, or you’re not using any recommenders from your current company. Don’t leave the admissions committee with unnecessary question marks about your candidacy.
(b) If you don’t have something to clarify in your application, don’t use this as an additional essay. Don’t try to sneak extra information beyond what has been explicitly sought. Don’t give the admissions committee extra, unsolicited work to do.
3) The recommendation letters
This is the only part of your application that is not entirely in your control. Ideally, you have chosen the best recommenders, your true champions, who want you to get into your dream school and are committed to turning in their recommendation letter on time.
But sometimes, even the best intentions don’t translate to the necessary outcomes. Recommenders can get busy or forget. So, you are responsible for following up with them and ensuring they submit their letters before the deadline. Your application will be considered incomplete without them!
Finish Strong!
(Then start prepping for your interviews :))
